Within the project “Cultural & Natural Heritage; A Tool for Socio-Economic Development” – rehabilitation of Ein Al-Balad and Al-Maidan Square in Battir implemented by Centre for Cultural Heritage Preservation (CCHP), the centre provided the Battir Municipality with 18 kiosks to be used for the various cultural activities in the area.
This initiative is part of the Maintenance and Management Plan prepared by CCHP and its partners for the project to revitalize the historic centre and the project’s area through organizing cultural activities, festivals and markets.
This project is funded by the British Council in Partnership with Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
