On Friday, September 23, the Centre for Cultural Heritage Preservation welcomed a delegation from the Engineers' Association in the presence of the chairwoman, Arch. Nadia Habash, the president of the Engineers' Association in Bethlehem, Eng. Manjid Al-Hawash and a number of engineers to visit Morcos Nassar Palace, which is currently used as a tourist boutique hotel run by Ma’an Lil – Hayat, an organization that cares about people with disabilities.

CCHP played a key role in carrying out the restoration and rehabilitation of this building. The visit included a tour of the palace facilities and a presentation that showed the stages of restoration and the standards followed in order to preserve the authenticity and antiquity of this building.

Following this visit, a second one was made to the Dar Al-Sabagh Diaspora Studies and Research Centre, to learn more about the centre and its services in diaspora research as well as its collection of artwork and old antiquities.
