In the framework of promoting the concept of cultural heritage as a tool for development, CCHP held a meeting with Hotel Management and Tourism students at Bethlehem University, to introduce them to the concept of heritage, its importance and contents in addition to displaying all CCHP’s initiatives in preserving the heritage and using it a tool for development on various scales.

Closing ceremony of the first training course in Mosaic for people with special needs, where CCHP participated with the Mosaic Centre of Bethlehem in organizing and funding this significant and innovative initiative. An exhibition was organized displaying all the products made throughout the project by the people with special needs.

The Institute for Community Participation – Bethlehem university accompanied CCHP and Beit Jala Municipality to the Musa Afandi Tourism Interpretation Centre to be introduced to its activities and actions and exchange experience in developing community tourism.

Mosaic-St.-Joseph-Inaug-2Among its wide range of rehabilitation projects funded by Sida through UNESCO, a partnership agreement has been signed to rehabilitate two traditional buildings in Beit Sahour between the CCHP, Beit Sahour Municipality, owners of the buildings and the beneficiary organizations.

Mosaic-St.-Joseph-Inaug-2Rehabilitation works for the third pool of Solomon’s Pools in Artas, which aim at safeguarding this archaeological site and develop it. CCHP is supervising the implementation of the works for the Solomon’s Pools Preservation and Development (SPPD).
