Dar Makhlouf Signing Agreements

Among its wide collection of rehabilitation projects funded by Sida, the Centre for Cultural Heritage Preservation has signed the agreements to rehabilitate Dar Makhlouf in Beit Jala with the owners of the building and Women's Centre for Legacy Aid and Counselling which will be using the building after rehabilitation.

The Major of Beit Jala, Eng. Raji Zeidan witnessed the signing, with attendance of the Governorate of Bethlehem Mr. Salah Al-Ta'mari and Dr. Waleed Al-Shareef, undersecretary of the Ministry of Tourism, representing the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Dr. Kholoud Deibes.

 

An information day was arranged for this project, including a brief description about the proposed phases of the project and the awareness activities, in addition to comprehensive presentation about the previous projects implemented by CCHP in Bethlehem district, in addition to a presentation about the importance of the community participation in implementing such projects.
