A Joint Working Day in Dar Al-Bandak in Anatreh Quarter

dar-albandak-planting1 The Centre for Cultural Heritage Preservation, in cooperation with Sharek Youth Forum, represented by Mr. Nadi Farraj, has organized a joint working day to plant and beautify the spaces surrounding Dar Al-Bandak in Bethlehem Historic Centre also known as Al-Anatreh Quarter.

 

30 students from the neighbouring school of Virgin Mary elementary School for girls have joined CCHP team in the planting activity, which aimed at raising the awareness of the citizens on the importance of preserving our Cultural Heritage.

 

dar-albandak-planting2 Dar Al-Bandak is a rehabilitation project designed and implemented by CCHP through the Job Creation through Rehabilitation Project funded by Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida). The building shall be used by our partner organization; Hamilat At-Teeb Ladies Orthodox Benevolent Society, as an educational centre for executive secretarial courses.
