As part of the public awareness activities, BeitJalaMunicipality and CCHP in cooperation with Al-Hara Theatre held a workshop about the rehabilitation of St. George Hosh Complex for the adaptive reuse of Al-Hara Theatre Arts Training Centre which is funded by the Italian Government through the Palestinian Municipalities Support Program (PMSP).

The workshop took a place in Beit Jala's Municipality hall and was attended by Eng. Raji Zeidan Mayor of Beit Jala, Arch. Issam Juha Director of CCHP, Orthodox priests, and number of representatives of Beit Jala's community based organizations, local community along with representatives from CCHP, BeitJalaMunicipality and Al-Hara Theatre.

The workshop included presentation about the project and its implementation process presented by Arch. Ghadeer Al-Najjar, and the importance of the local community participation presented by Mr. Mohammed Owaineh. In addition to a presentation about Al-Hara Theatre by Ms. Marina Barham describing how the site is going to be functioned after its rehabilitation.

It is worth mentioning that the work of the project is divided into two phases; phase one included cleaning and strengthening the building, while the second phase includes the implementation of the rehabilitation works of this historic building.
