These efforts aim at improving the urban situation in the city, and enhance the sense of responsibility of the local community, especially the youth about the importance of cultural heritage and the need to preserve it.

As part of the participatory approach along with the rehabilitation projects that the Centre for Cultural Heritage Preservation (CCHP) is implementing for the traditional buildings in Bethlehem District, CCHP has organized a voluntary workday in the historic centre of Bethlehem on Friday 19th of April with Youth from Beit Sahour Orthodox Group and the Bethlehem Star Cultural Centre.
