Located on a hilltop known as Daher’s Vineyard, just outside the village of Nahaleen about a 15 minute drive from Bethlehem, this little-known spot is as remarkable for its situation as for the story behind it. It is the wedding of family history and tourism of the most inspiring sort. The site has few permanent man-made structures, four wells, an old wine press, open air theater and animal corner. January to March is the season for tree planting for locals and internationals. Summer is devoted to local kids from Bethlehem, villages and refugee camps. The Christian and Muslim boys and girls stay one week in tents. The almond and grape harvest take place in August and the olive harvest in October.
