Under the patronage of Dr. Kholoud Deibed, minister of Tourism and Antiquities, CCHP inaugurated Dar Khamis rehabilitation project in Al-Khas Village funded by Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency "Sida" on Saturday 29th May to be used as a headquarter for youth by Al-Karma Cultural Forum.

 

 Mr. Khader Hamdan, president of Al-Khas Village welcomed the guests thanking Sida for the generous and continuing support of the Palestinian people, and appreciates the efforts of the CCHP in preserving the cultural heritage resources contributing to job creation for the village, especially in light of the current situation.

In her speech, Dr. Deibes pointed out to the importance of such projects in preserving the cultural and natural heritage in Palestine, and appreciated Sida for their great efforts in supporting Palestine, where she stressed the need to continue this relationship and to support such projects dealing with heritage.

 

Arch. Issam Juha, director of CCHP, indicated to the projects as important one comes under the overall strategy plan to extend the centre's working area and ensure the provision of social services and create jobs to contribute to efforts achieving sustainable development in the long run.
