open housebs2011 The Centre for Cultural Heritage Preservation (CCHP) , organized by the Municipality of Beit Sahour which took place in Ush Ghurab Peace Park-Beit Sahour on the 1st of July, as part of the Municipality's commitment to the concept of community engagement and networking.


This major networking event is an opportunity for consulates, embassies, representative offices to the Palestinian Authority, UN organizations, international organizations and non-governmental organizations to come get to know Beit Shaour, the community, the municipality, and the local organizations.

 

Mr. Hani Al-Hayek Mayor of Beit Sahour Municipality, Eng. Anwar Hilal president of the Local Action Committee (LAC), and Mr. Jamil Jaraysa president of the Beit Sahour Youth Council expressed their proud of such event and the aim behind it and its effect on the community, beside pointing out to their accomplishments.


open1 housebs2011 Moreover, the event included Dabka Folklore Dance by "Baqoun Group" and musical show by the Edward Said Music Conservatory, and a short film on Beit Sahour, its facilities and accomplishments of the Municipality through the past years.  By the end of the event, the audience networked with the participated organizations and had been introduced to their accomplishments in serving the local community.
