The students finished their work on Friday 26th, where they presented the outcomes and results they have accomplished to the protection and management of the Bethlehem Historic Centre, in Vienna hall at Bethlehem municipality, with the presence of Bethlehem mayor, council members, CCHP and representatives of the French Consulate.
The preparation of a conservation and management plan for the historic town of Bethlehem is being conducted under the Heritage for Development: Investing in People for the Protection and Management of Historic City Centres project; a project funded by the European Commission, and co-financed by the Local Development through the Rehabilitation and Revitalization of the Historic Built Environment in Palestine project; a project funded by Government of Sweden through the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency “Sida” and implemented through United Nations Educational, Scientific, Culture Organization (UNESCO) – Ramallah Office.
