Community Panel Discussion

city bureau Centre for Cultural Heritage Preservation (CCHP) prepared a panel discussion with the local community, under the title "The Living Room" on Monday 30th of September, in Manger Square in Bethlehem.  This meeting comes within the activities of the "Heritage for Development (Her4Dev): investing in people for the rehabilitation and management of historic towns" project in partnership with the municipality of Bethlehem.

 

The Living Room is composed of three mobile panel discussions within the historic centre of Bethlehem aiming to gather information about the needs of people in the historic town and the basic requirements for the development of the town and the revitalization of the different levels.  These sessions come as part of the activities to prepare a Conservation and Management plan for the historic centre of Bethlehem, where CCHP will publish the results and statistics of these meetings to the institutions concerned and the various media.

 

city bureau1 It is worth mentioning that "The Heritage for Development (Her4Dev)" project is funded by the European Commission, and is implemented by the Centre for Cultural Heritage Preservation in partnership with the Bethlehem Municipality and with the technical support of RehabiMed Association.
