Voluntary workday

v.w. qattan In cooperation with the Municipality of Bethlehem, and as part of the participatory approach along with the rehabilitation projects that the Centre for Cultural Heritage Preservation (CCHP) is implementing for the traditional buildings in Bethlehem District, CCHP has organized a voluntary workday in the historic centre of Bethlehem on Friday 20th of September with Youth from De La Salle Scout Bethlehem.

 

v.w. qattan1 These efforts aim at improving the urban situation in the city, and enhance the sense of responsibility of the local community, especially the youth about the importance of cultural heritage and the need to preserve it.  This day is funded by the Government of Sweden - Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency "Sida" through the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization "UNESCO" - Ramallah Office.
