CCHP organizes a voluntary workday in Battir's ECO Landscape Museum

battir cleaning2011 As a Part of "Live the Rituals of Christmas in the City of Bethlehem" programme, which was organized by the International Palestinian Youth League in Hebron, CCHP organized a voluntary workday in Battir Village Eco Museum and hiking trail.

 

The Village Council hosted the group of 24 international and local volunteers where they were given a welcoming speech by the project coordinator Mr. Michael Nasser followed by a presentation about the significance of the Eco Museum by Arch. Hassan Muammar. Afterwards, the volunteers started the cleaning activities in the trail.


After finishing the works in the designated area, the volunteers have been guided for a walk in the trail starting from Battir Village ending in Al-Makhrour Valley in Beit Jala.
