Rehabilitation of Dar Morcos Nassar

nassar Centre for Cultural Heritage Preservation (CCHP) in cooperation with Riwaq – Centre for Architectural Conservation rehabilitated Dar Morcos Nassar, one of the palaces in the Historic centre of Bethlehem, to be re-used by the Ma’an Lilhaya (L’arche Bethlehem) that serves people with special needs and help them to integrate into society.

 

nassar1 During rehabilitation works, all wood and metal works in the projects were maintained in addition to the painted ceiling and murals to be rehabilitated in the coming period.

 

It is worth mentioning that this project is funded by the Government of Wallonia in Belgium through the Institute of Walloon Heritage (IPW) and Wallonie-Bruxelles International (WBI).
