This visit was done in coordination with Eng. Imad Nassar and Eng. Afif Tweimeh, the project manager, who works for the "Community Development Group," a Palestinian engineering consulting firm, where the team observed the rehabilitation of the paintings, and the materials used, and how to protect and preserve the assets of the church from being damaged during the implementation of the rehabilitation works, such as the mosaic.  Though much care has been taken not to disturb the visitors and the church.

It is worth mentioning that the Company president Giammarco Piacenti (Toscana – Italy) is responsible for the implementation of works at the Church of the Nativity.
