This course, which lasted for 3 months come within the framework of developing technical and professional qualifications of professionals and workers in the field of preservation of cultural heritage in Palestine.
Students were divided into groups, where each group worked on a case study based on the experience and knowledge gained through this workshop and represent the outcomes on this day. The evaluation committee, consisted of Arch. Issam Juha, Arch. Fida’ Touma and Arch. Bashar Al-Husseini, discussed and evaluated the case studies and reports submitted by the participant students, where they put their notes to be taken into consideration and present the reports in its final form.
The training course aims to establish and develop the technicalities in the field of conservation and preservation of architectural and historical heritage in Palestine and the acquisition of scientific bases in each of the documentation and conservation principles, theory and history, local and international context, historic materials and techniques, structural problems of the old buildings, and how to manage historical sites.
