Al-Deer Square Rehabilitation Signing Agreement

deer agreement Among its wide collection of rehabilitation projects in Palestine, funded by theGovernment of Sweden / Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), through United Nations Educational, Scientific, Culture Organization (UNESCO) – Ramallah Office, Centre for Cultural Heritage Preservation (CCHP) has signed the agreement to rehabilitate Al-Deer Square in Beit Jala with the Municipality of Beit Jala.

CCHP in cooperation with the municipality organized a meeting to introduce the project and discuss the proposed plans with the stakeholders, where Mr. Nicola Khamis mayor of Beit Jala welcomed the audience and call upon them to cooperate and be patience during construction work, stressing that this project comes to serve and meet their needs and ensure safety.

 

deer 1agreement Arch Issam Juha, Director of CCHP pointed out that this project serves the society and will deal with the existing problems, where it will provide parking and ease the stranglehold in this area and provide a square to be used for the various occasions and events of Beit Jala.
