"THE TANGIBLE AND INTANGIBLE HERITAGE THAT EXISTS FROM PREVIOUS GENERATIONS PROVIDES A LINK BETWEEN PEOPLE AND THEIR PAST"
In cooperation with the Architecture Faculty at BirZeit University, CCHP presented a lecture regarding its projects and the techniques and methods of rehabilitation and its phases. As well, Dr. Mohammed Jawabreh from BirZeit University discussed certain projects implemented by CCHP with the Master Student at the Planning and Landscape Faculty.
Under the patronage of Rula Ma’ayah, Minister of MoTA, the Centre for Cultural Heritage Preservation celebrated the completion of the rehabilitation works for the House of Hope in Beit Jala; a project implemented through the "Local Development through the Rehabilitation and Revitalization of the Historic Built Environment in Palestine" programme and funded by the Government of Sweden - Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency "Sida" through the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization "UNESCO" - Ramallah Office.
