MoU B.S.1 Through “Urban Sites Rehabilitation in: Bethany, Bethlehem, and Burqin” funded by The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through the Compete Project, A memorandum of Understanding was signed today between Beit Sahour Municipality represented by its Mayor Hani Al Hayek and The Centre for Cultural Heritage Preservation – CCHP represented by its director Arch. Issam Juha. The Memorandum includes the commencement of the procedures of”the Rehabilitation of Shepherds field Street” to become a touristic street under the supervision of Centre for Cultural Heritage Preservation – CCHP.

Burqin Wokrshop

burqin Mota Under the patronage of the Tourism and Antiquities Minister H.E. Rula Ma'aia and in collaboration with Burqin Municipality; the Centre for Cultural Heritage Preservation have organized a workshop to discuss the Conservation and Management plan for the historic town of Burqin. The workshop took place on Wednesday, February 2, 2015 and was held in Burqin Municipality Hall through "The Rehabilitation of the Urban sites in Bethlehem, Bethany and Burqin" funded by The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through the West Bank Compete Project.

voluntary-Work Within the activities and programmes of community participation associated with the rehabilitation projects of traditional buildings carried out by the Centre for Cultural Heritage Preservation (CCHP) in Bethlehem, CCHP organized a voluntary work day in the historic town of Bethlehem with the participation of De La Salle Scouts, Baptist, Terra Sancta, and the Salesian Scouts.

launch DAI2014 Under the patronage of H.E. Ms. Rula Ma'aia, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) celebrated the inauguration of a cluster of renovated sites in Bethlehem, under the supervision of the CCHP on Thursday 18th December, 2014.

tourguide course1 In Cooperation with the Ministry of Antiquities and Tourism and the Arab Tour Guides Union (ATGU), The Centre for Cultural Heritage Preservation organized a refreshing course for tour guides in Bethlehem under the theme "The Cultural and Architectural Heritage in Bethlehem". The course took place on Monday, December 15, 2014 through "The Rehabilitation of the Urban sites in Bethlehem, Bethany and Burqin" funded by The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through the West Bank Compete Project.
