"THE TANGIBLE AND INTANGIBLE HERITAGE THAT EXISTS FROM PREVIOUS GENERATIONS PROVIDES A LINK BETWEEN PEOPLE AND THEIR PAST"
The Centre for Cultural Heritage Preservation (CCHP) and for the 4th time, has organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Education – Bethlehem for Drawing and Writing Contest with school children (13 – 16 years) in the Bethlehem District, within the framework of the Awareness programmes and campaigns implemented by the CCHP.
The Centre for Cultural Heritage Preservation (CCHP) celebrated the completion of the rehabilitation works for Hosh Jadou' project in Al-Ubeidyeh, under the patronage of Dr. Kholoud Deibes, and in cooperation with Al-Ubeidyeh Municipality. This project is funded through the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency "Sida", and is used by Al-Ubeidyeh Youth Club for the benefit of the community.
Within the framework of the advocacy campaign to promote inscribing Bethlehem on the World Heritage List (WHL), the Institute for Community Partnership (ICP) at Bethlehem University in cooperation with the Bethlehem Municipality and the Centre for Cultural Heritage Preservation – Bethlehem (CCHP) have organized a lecture for the students of the English Access Micro-scholarship Program about the history and preparation of the nomination to documents to inscribe Bethlehem on the World Heritage List; Birthplace of Jesus – Church of the Nativity and the Pilgrimage Route.
The Centre for Cultural Heritage Preservation (CCHP) hosted yesterday in his headquarter a group of 10th grade students from the Evangelical Lutheran School in Beit Sahour within the "From School to Career" Project, which is implemented by Save the Children Association in partnership of the Ministry of Higher Education.
